doom’s day
First day of university today at UNSW.
- Woke up waaaay too early.
- Came early to cabra station, found some friends, Cynthia came to greet me.
- Train didnt stop at Canely where we were meant to meet Jessica, so we waited for her at Fairfield. Packed train.
- Caught the bus, also packed.
- Cynthia and her friend walked me to my class. 20 minutes late.
- Learnt about what construction management entails. $$
- Went to my first ever lecture, made a group. pretty cool kids in my cohort, no gronks or lads. made friends here and there.
- Met up with George and Tony for my 1hr break and watched various videos.
- First hour of my 4hr lecture for Domestic construction went fairly quick, discovered we are building a model house. had a short break and funnily enough met up with nguy and cynthia again. was tempted to leave but figure i would miss out on important information (i did not).
- Hopes were high in the 2nd hour of the 4hr lecture as the lecturer said we will leave before 5.
- Last 2 hours lecturer told us about his life story. didn’t learn anything or do anything related to the course. we did leave before 5, barely.
- Bus back to central, met up with Jonny.
- Caught the train, met more people on the train.
- Drove Jonny home.
